My parents and sister Heather, along with her kids, Taegan and Jade, came out to visit us after Caleb was born for about 10 days. We had such a great time! I hadn't seen Heather for over 1 year. She lives in Philly where her husband is attending Drexel Med School. Taegan is almost 3 years old and Jade is just 2 months old. Our kids had a real 'Love - Hate' relationship. They loved to be together, but were still young enough to fight over all of the toys!
My kids were so excited to see Grandpa and Grandma, as well as Heather and her kids. Ethan called Grandma the day I got home from the hospital and demanded to know why she was still not at our house because he'd been waiting for her all day! He basically cussed her out for not getting to our house as quick as he wanted.
My parents were so great to help while here. 4 kids is definately a challenge. For a few nights, my mom slept on our couch to help me with the baby while my other kids stayed at the hotel with Grandpa and Dad.
We did all types of things, like swimming, going to the fun rides at the park, driving to Colorado Springs to get pictures, and eating out at restaurants.
We also blessed Caleb while they were here and were glad we had family attend.
Here is Heather, Taegan, Kyla, Ethan, and me while we waited in line to go on the rocket ride at the park. Both me and Heather were very dizzy after this ride (it just went around in circles for a couple of minutes), but the kids loved it.
